Correct pump pressure: During treatment, the needle should be in the blue area of the pressure scale (between 80 and 140). You decide which pressure is most comfortable for you.
By applying pressure to the back of the hand, the two bars of the curpal® are pushed slightly outwards. This ensures that the carpal ligament is stretched, the nerve in the carpal tunnel has more space and the fingers are better supplied. This reduces tingling, pain and numbness.
Our recommendation: hold the pressure for three minutes, three cycles in a row, use three times a day.
Release pressure:
Press the red button until the pressure scale display returns to 0.

More InformationAlmost one in ten Germans between the ages of 40 and 70 is familiar with the painful carpal tunnel syndrome , with women being affected around five times more often than men. More and more patients want a carpal tunnel syndrome therapy that does not require surgical intervention. Why?
Surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome is a widely used method that often shows positive results in the short term. Nevertheless, many patients report recurring complaints and postoperative complications in the long term. Therefore, it is believed that surgical intervention is not always the optimal solution and can alternatively be replaced by manual therapy, if this is practicable.
It should be noted that one-time surgical procedures may cause potentially irreversible injuries or damage that are often difficult to correct. Another relevant aspect that is often overlooked is the efficiency of manual therapy. This method has the same goal as surgery, namely to widen the carpal tunnel to provide more space for the nerve. The key difference, however, is that manual therapy is performed without surgery, medication or potential side effects. This approach therefore offers a painless and non-invasive alternative.
We recommend trying all available alternatives before undergoing surgery. A possible alternative is treatment with curpal®. Manual therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome shows positive results in 80 percent of people. Treatment with curpal® is particularly simple and time-saving.
curpal® enables independent treatment of painful carpal tunnel syndrome without the risk of side effects. By using the curpal® cuff, the carpal tunnel is gently widened, which often leads to rapid relief of symptoms.
The use of curpal® essentially has the same effect as surgery: the carpal tunnel is widened to give the nerve more space. This is not done through surgical intervention, but through simple mechanical stretching. This stretch can quickly provide relief from symptoms. In Germany, this method of mechanical stretching with aids is new. Stretching exercises are particularly well known here.
Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs mainly in older people. Many people find performing exercises to be strenuous. In such cases, curpal® can provide great relief.
